More Direct Buy details
It sounds like some of you are familiar with Direct Buy or have researched the wholesale shopping club.
Here is a 2007 Consumer Reports blog article with a few more details about Direct Buy, including the membership fees charged at some New York clubs last year.

Jenny please tell Mr. Wilson and his wife that this is Roanoke not Chicago. Look at all of the other businesses that have failed here. Do they honestly think this business will last a year? Ask them to do us all a favor and go ahead and close up shop so another legitimate business can use that space.
