Baja Bistro coming to Salem
A new eatery is set to land in the former home of Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Salem. Posted signs reveal that Baja Bistro Fresh Mex Grille is making plans to open in this retail center on West Main Street.
I also found a job ad here for Baja Bistro's new Salem location.
I haven't yet heard back from the Baja Bistro owner, but once I do, I'll fill you in on the details about this new restaurant. At one time, Greg Caldwell, a Roanoke area franchisee for Baja Bistro, was considering opening the restaurant at Keagy Village in Southwest Roanoke County.

Oooh! I hope it is like Qdoba, Baja Fresh, Moes, and Chipotle!

Its about time, but in Salem? Who goes to Salem for anything?

Jenny, thanks for continuing to keep us informed of the retail goings on, and Happy New Year.
And, to my fellow reader, Joe. Tsk! Tsk! Let's agree to a more pleasant tone for 2009. No need to start the New Year out with derogatory energy.

Joe,
The people who live in that part of Salem and Roanoke County like to eat just as much as people in Roanoke do.
