Beauty and Burgers
There have been quite a few retail and restaurant openings lately.
Two recent openings include Bella Beauty at Valley View Mall in Roanoke and Burger in the Square in Roanoke County.
Bella Beauty, a store selling mainly hair care products, landed a spot on Valley View's upper level near Macy's. This store is locally owned, but the owner has not responded to an inquiry for further information about the venture.
Burger in the Square opened on Brambleton Avenue last month. This is the same Burger in the Square that has a spot inside the Market Building in downtown Roanoke. You can read more details about this burger joint's opening on the SwoCo blog.

My family has eaten at the new BITS location 5 times now since it has opened and it has yet to disappoint. We ate dinner tonight and Mr. Wilson was behind the counter cooking, all my daughter wanted was a hot dog with no bun and he said ok I will charge you ex amount of money for just the dog instead of charging us the full kids meal price.
If there is one thing to complain about though minor it is the size of the place. Since this is a mom and pop run business I totally understand their decision to start small just in the small chance it wouldn't work out. I guess the next step since they are such a hit is to eventually find a bigger space in the county hopefully close to the current location to move to.
