Cave Spring volleyball JVs defeat William Byrd
Cave Spring defeated William Byrd twice on Monday in volleyball. The varsity team won -- scores and stats in this morning's sports pages of The Roanoke Times. The junior varsity team also won, by scores of 25-6 and 25-13. Moriah Moore at Cave Spring tells us:
"The team was lead by captain Corey Jacobsen, who recorded 4 kills, and libero Danielle Duff, who went 13 for 13 serving, including 3 aces.
"Cave Spring plays again next Tuesday when they host rival Hidden Valley. The JV game is at 6pm with the varsity to follow."
