St. John Lutheran hosts conference on "Finances and Work" Oct. 25
The men’s ministry team of St. John Lutheran Church is hosting a half-day conference on “Finances and Work” on Sat., Oct. 25 from 8:30am - 11:30am.
The conference will involve presentations by Henry Cloud (author of “Boundaries and Integrity”), Dave Ramsey (author of “The Total Money Makeover”), and Andy Stanley (author of “Choosing to Cheat: Who Wins When Work and Family Collide”).
These presentations will be made available via simulcast, and there will on-site discussions that follow. This conference is open to anyone in the valley who is interested, and the cost is a modest $10.00.
Given the recent interest in and concern for the economy and how the recent troubles on Wall Street may impact each of us, we felt this conference was especially well timed and will provide important and useful information for those who are seeking answers from a Christian perspective. By providing access to this national event at a modest cost right here in the Valley, we are hoping to build new ways for churches in the region to pool our resources and use them wisely so that we are better able to reach our community.
