Photos: Clearbrook Elementary School holds Fall Festival
Students, parents, and teachers at Clearbrook Elementary had an exciting Friday evening on October 3 during the school's annual Fall Festival.
Some of the activities that students had the opportunity to participate in were:
-M*A*S*H Unit
-"Speedtacular"
-Gone Fishin'
-Balloon Poppin'
-Duck Pond
-Face paintin
-Spa & Nail Salon
-Tattoos
-Cupcake Walk
-Popcorn
-Apple Bobbing
-Hockey
-Basketball
-Lollipop Tree
-Candy bar Walk
-Room of Chance
-Putt-Putt
-Rocky Climbing
-Obstacle Course
-VW Monster Bug
-Race Car
Rooms throughout the school were decorated with signs describing the games and activities in each. Students mingled around with their parents and their friends to use the tickets they purchased. Each activity was worth a ticket or two and student won candy and other prizes during the activities.
Food was also available and catered by Henry's Memphis BBQ and dessert was catered by the Clearbrook Staff Members including, brownies, cookies, cake, and more.
Drink were sold by the Student Council Association.
Musical entertainment was also provided by the Roanoke Valley Pickers in the gymnasium.
A special drawing included the opportunity to win a La-Z-Boy Reclining Chair and the winner was announced at 8:30 p.m.
Vendors and crafters lined the halls including jewelry, Bows, Belts & More, Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, personal stationery and pillowcases, Indian jewelry and scarves, Phoenix Cards, Premier Jewelry and Doll Clothes, and Fantasy Face Painting.
Additional activities for cash included, Star City Stuff An Animal and Fantastic Fun Jars.
All profits from the Fall Festival directly benefit and support the educational needs of all Clearbrook Elementary School children.
