Tech offensive coordinator Brian Stinespring to appear at Cave Spring Elementary
On Friday, Oct 10, Brian Stinespring, offensive coordinator for VT will be reading to students at Cave Spring Elementary from 11to 12. The school has been selected to be part of the state blitz for "Herma's Readers" which is a program launched by Frank Beamer, head coach, to honor his late mother, a former elementary school teacher. VT Coaches and players will be going to 25 different schools all over Virginia.
Also on Saturday, Oct. 11, Cave Spring Elementary will be hosting its fall carnival. It is a major fundraiser for the school and always draws a large crowd of families, alumni, and community members. It is from 10 to 3 and will include many games, prizes, inflatables, food, and a haunted house. All are welcome to come to this event.
