Student Advisory Council to give presentation on risky behaviors
Chuck Lionberger, vice president for Roanoke County Council of PTA's, sent this information:
The Roanoke County Council of PTA's will host the Roanoke County Schools Student Advisory Council for a very important presentation on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Roanoke County School Board office.
Do kids really listen to parents when it comes to risky behaviors? How can parents help their teens avoid risky behaviors?
Students will have suggestions of ways parents can talk to their kids. Students are serious about preventing risky behaviors - are you?
This is an important part of the Student Advisory Council's effort to let parents know that it's NOT OK to indulge the risky behaviors of their kids.
