Winter registration is almost here
Here's a notice from Scott Ramsburg, marketing manager for Roanoke County Parks, Recreation & Tourism:
If you're a Roanoke County resident, or have participated in our recreation programs before, look in your mailbox this week for our Winter 2009 program guide, REConnection Magazine. Upcoming registration dates are the following:
Saturday, Dec. 6 - Online Only, County Residents
Monday, Dec. 8 - Walk-in/Phone, County Residents
Thursday, Dec. 11 - Open Registration
Thursday, Dec. 11 - Open Registration
If you don't get one, or just can't wait for your magazine in the mail, visit our website and find a program that's right for you. While County Residents get the first shot at registration, there is no additional fee for Non-Residents.
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 31st, and join us in Downtown Vinton for our annual Enchanted Eve New Year's Celebration! Enjoy an alcohol-free night of entertainment, games and family fun as we ring in the new year. Visit our website to find out how to purchase buttons - OR - become an volunteer and get in for free. Deadline to volunteer is Decmeber 20th. Call 387-6078 ext. 251 for more information.
