It was a cold night for a parade Friday, but among those who braved the wind chill for Roanoke's Christmas parade was Normandie Essig, a North Cross School student who reigns as Little Miss Roanoke Valley. That's her, at left, holding the sign with Lindsay Morris, Miss Roanoke Valley.
In the carriage are two other winners from the August pageant at Cave Spring High School: Catherine Turner, Miss Pre-Teen Roanoke Valley, and Davanna Law, Miss Teen Roanoke Valley.
