Cave Spring United Methodist makes mission trip to New Orleans

A mission team from Cave Spring United Methodist Church composed of 8 members traveled to New Orleans in early January to build a community playground for Cornerstone UMC. With the aid of 3 freshmen college students from Oberlin University, Ohio, the mission team constructed the playground from ground up for toddlers and children 5 to 12 years of age. This community playground will serve the children whose homes were devastated and lives traumatized by Hurricane Katrina.
