Photos: Pageant princesses serve pancakes at IHOP

If you were at the IHOP on Franklin Road Tuesday evening, here's what you would have seen -- some pageant princesses helping serve pancakes. It was a fund-raiser for the Children's Miracle Network (see our previous post on Feb. 19.)

Bob Henderson has sent us a photo gallery from the event. Thanks, Bob.

In this photo: From left to right: Princess Jane Ward, Little Miss Normandie Essig, a diner, a waitress (who just happened to be passing by and decided to stick her head in), Miss Pre-Teen Catherine Turner and Miss Teen Davanna Law.

Bob's photo gallery also has photos of Miss Roanoke Valley, who attended a similar event in Harrisonburg, where she's a student at James Madison University.

All these pageant winners, of course, were crowned at Cave Spring High School last fall. For more pageant coverage:

* Sept. 30: More photos from the Miss Roanoke Valley pageant at Cave Spring High Schoo.
