Woman from Southwest Roanoke County appears in play at Jefferson Center
Elizabeth Jones of Southwest Roanoke County is appearing in a show at the Jefferson Center.
The show is “Vintage Durang,” by Gamut Theatre, and features an evening of comic short pieces by Christopher Durang.
Performances will be Thursday, July 9, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 10 at 8pm, Saturday July 11th at 8 p.m, Thursday July 16th at 7:30 p.m. and closing performance on Friday, July 17th at 8 p.m.
Tickets are on sale at the Jefferson Center box office at 345-2550. Cost is $12 adults, $8 for students and Mill Mountain Theatre season ticket holders.

Gamut Theatre explores the wine cellar and returns with a fine “Vintage Durang”
Gamut has gone down to the wine cellar and emerged with a fine “Vintage Durang”, an evening of short works by Christopher Durang. The vintage pieces are “The Actor’s Nightmare”, “Funeral Parlor”, “DMV Tyrant”, and “Canker Sores and other Distractions”. Directed by Miriam Frazier these comic short pieces feature Michael Ridenhour, Mary Evelyn Tielking, Patrick Kelly, David McCall, Christopher Reidy, Wendy Beidler and Danielle Thorsen. Along with the Gamut performances, LoLo Monae presents the 3rd annual “Gang of Lost Souls” art show. There will be an opening reception at 5 pm on July 9th before the performance of “Vintage Durang”.
