Once the fog burns off, likely a dry week

Warm, but not hot, and dry weather is likely to prevail this week once the fog, drizzle and low clouds burn off sometime later this morning. By the weekend, hotter weather may be accompanied by more moisture with a bit more southerly trajectory on the winds, so we could get back into the afternoon and evening scattered showers and storms we've not been having much of the last few weeks. But all in all, another run of several pleasant summer days is ahead, with coolish mornings and highs warm enough for the pool but not hot enough to be overbearing if you're working outside.

  1. Accuweather shows 1.05 rain for Wytheville coming this Thursday and Saturday. I don't see where that's coming from, but I want it to be true.
