The Wild Life, with Mark Taylor

Three generations of Fenders after a great hunt

I love this picture of the Fender family after a successful deer hunt in Alleghany County on Nov. 22.

Oldest son Jason (left) killed a nice eight-pointer while father Ernie killed a three-pointer. SonĀ Richie killedĀ  doe while hunting with his daughter, Hunter.

  1. How great is this, for all of them to get a deer while together and on the same day, this is where the hunting memories come from, way to go guys

  2. I think this is awesome and I love the fact there is such a cute redhead in the bunch. It is great to pass down the sport of hunting to children and share the experience with family.

    Congrats...!

--If there's a better expression than the one on little Hunter's face in any picture on this blog, I haven't seen it. Awesome, indeed. mt

  3. This is what hunting is all about. And to see kids with such interest, puts a smile on my face. Ernie, looks like you have done a fine job on raising your kids and I wish the best of luck to you and your family. Great job guys!
