The Wild Life, with Mark Taylor

Brandon Steele with a Giles County bruiser

Opening day was good for Brandon Steele, who spotted this awesome buck trailing a doe in Giles County.

Steele said the buck dressed at 168 pounds. The inside spread was just under 19 inches, with 21-inch main beams and 6.5-inch brow tines.

"The Lord truly blessed me Saturday," Steele wrote, and "reminded me that all good things come from Him."
