You go, Hillary!

Hillary Clinton hit a homerun with her speech Saturday afternoon! If she had used that tone and approach rather than her win-at-all costs tactics that divided the party and cost her support, we might be looking at a different nominee.

President Obama(not a faux pas)has shown nobility in taking the high road with Senator Clinton which she refused to show initially in her defeat. It says something about this man's character that hopefully all of America will see and accept for the good of the nation. Most other leaders wouldn't even give her consideration as an ambassador to Siberia under the circumstances.

Best Speech She's given, and one of the Best of the Season!

Funny you should say that the talking heads said she should be the Ambassador to Siberia, before Obama trust her.

Me personally after researching my candidate of choice I find her past dealings with shady people, still her inability to deal with a promiscuous husband as being reported by "Vanity Fair".

Oh let's not forget her S 1757 legislation bill,

Puerto Rican Pandering (Did Hillary Try To 'Buy' Puerto Rican Votes With Tax Refunds?)

I find her unbelievable no matter how sweet the sound.

I am convinced Hillary Clinton is an intelligent woman with very good 'on the hill' connections BUT she emits an aura of 'entitlement' even on television and I feel this is what led to her defeat. She lied to her supporters; she put down her opponent several times; and she never came across as a person we could identify with. She "loaned" her campaign millions of dollars...1. where did she get this money? 2. how does she pay herself back if she won the campaign? 3. will/would these millions be paid by you and me as taxpayers? I smell something fishy here............
I know where Mr. Obama got his money and he got it fair and square with donations from his supporters. No paying himself back for anything by the taxpayers. I commend Mr. Obama, I praise him and I respect his nobility in fighting a good, clean campaign. He deserves the win all the way into the White House. Hillary gave her best speech Saturday. I just have one question about the speech....was it necessary to interject 'black man' in her description of Mr. Obama? Why can't we just be 'peope, man or woman' without reference to color? Most of us are not blind - we know our colors and most of us wouldn't care if he was purple. He is still the best for the presidential seat.

Hillary Clinton stood by an errant husband who happened to be President, and I know many women who do this and it is excepted. The press picked Hillary's bones as it were and the strong negitive press were in a feeding frenzy, especially after Obama threw his hat in. I spoke to many, women and middle aged men who were voting for Hillary, and yes many Afo American's, but chose Obama, for his "yes we can". Just what that siginifies is yet an unknown, except that in the disillusion of current goverment practices, and our blended ethnic populis, Obama seems Heaven sent. He is neither JFK, nor MLK, and with little experience, if elected unless he surrounds himself with stellar workmates,we again will be vunerable. Collectively we have been asleep, and we must own our part in allowing what is, and be involved in the change for the betterment of ALL, not just the select. And Hillary more than any other canidate would have effected that, as she knows the "drill".

Dona:
I hate to have to break this to you, but "the drill" that Hilary knows best is the one her husband has done to so many female colleagues. She did give a good speech on Saturday, but aside from that, she did little other than whine, run up debts, and then beg the nominee to help pay off the debt she rang up in "drilling" him with below-the-belt punches throughout her campaign. Good riddance to her and her low-life husband.

Senator Clinton ran a magnificent race with the media going after her with no mercy. I went to her rally in Louisville and she connected with voters in a way I will never forget. And remember, her husband is the only Democrat President who won re-election for the second term since FDR won his second term in 1936, I wish things were just half as good now as they were when Clinton went out of office in January, 2001. How soon you forget. There has never been a President who stood up for people of different races, sexes, religions like President Clinton. Yes he had an affair that was wrong, but he and Hillary did not divorce the way Bob Dole, John McCain, Newt Gingerich and many others did. And he did not invade another county and send our men and women to five years of war. Are any of us perfect?

Mike,
It's very easy to spot a person who is less embracing of the female gender, which is sad and not understanding that the balance could be corrected with a female president. I am not sorry that I am a female, a nurturer, a Mom, an ex wife, who has a much better manner of expressing emotion and seeing the nuance of every moment. Politics is just a more elite, sandbox, yet still the schoolyard sandbox, and I stand by Hillary who has her very capable hands on the pulse of the American people, and a near impossible job of clearing up the mess left by Republican presidents.

Editor's note: I can assure you that "less embracing of the female gender" in no way reflects Mike.--s

Obama is peddling the exact same Health "Care Reform Bill" Hillary was pushing when her husband Put in charge of it, it failed then and it will fail now.

The only thing she is capable of mishandling is our TAX DOLLARS.

If Obama follows that plan The American tax payer will be forced to take care of every illegal alien "Health Care", when we can barely take of our own.

My first choice for president was, in fact, a woman, and a black woman at that. Let's hope McCain has the foresight to choose her as his running mate.

I believe that Sen. Clinton should be kept as far away as possible from the Obama campaign. She has undermined Se. Obama at every opportunity, even during this recent show of unity (Black Man? I guess she still doesn't recognize Obama's humanity and speaks of only what she sees). Personally, I think that if Hillary Clinton cannot run a debt-free campaign, she most likely wouldn't be too adept at running an economy. Finally, I believe the Republican Party, and John McClain in particular, are bankrupt of ideas. Nothing they say really speaks of any new idea. Just more of the same 'ole "Stay The Course".
Just a few of my beliefs.

Shaun:
You make some very valid points, especially those concerning Hilary. I can't argue, either, with your take on McCain, which is why he needs a strong person like Condi Rice as a running mate. She'll be a natural to take over for him in four years.
