Sunday Insert Round-Up: Love is in the air

Feb 12, 2012 Your Sunday paper

As I’m sure you’re aware, Valentine’s Day is Tuesday — and there are lots of reminders in this week’s ad. We’ve got lots of retail coupons, plus up to two coupon booklets — SmartSource and Redplum.

Belk is having a Valentine’s Day Sale this week for three days only — so get out to the mall sometime between today and Tuesday. There’s loads of stuff on sale throughout the store, plus multiple coupons.
The coupons offer: 20% off your entire regular & sale fine jewelry purchase, $10 off your first $50 or more (regular & sale) purchase, $20 off your first $100 or more (regular & sale) purchase and $30 off your first $150 or more (regular & sale) purchase.

Rack Room Shoes has another coupon available this week, offering $10 off a purchase of $60 or more. Combine this with their everyday buy 1, get 1 half-off sale for the best deal.

The Michaels ad this week doesn’t have as many coupons as usual, but you’ll still find a couple. One is good for 50% off any regular priced item, and another offers 25% off your entire purchase of wall & tabletop frames, framed art and display cases.
Loads of merchandise throughout the store is 40 to 50% off this week, so you should find some bargains without a coupon.

AC Moore has three coupons available this week. They’re offering 57% off custom framing, 40% off a regular priced item this week, and 50% off a regular priced item next week.
Like Michaels, there’s also a lot of merchandise 40 to 50% off throughout the store.

At CVS this week you’ll find a ton of two-for and BOGO deals. Remember, use multiple coupons (if you have them) on these deals to get your best value.
The CVSCash promotion continues into this week, so look out for those special tags throughout the store.
There are also a lot of gifts and candy on sale.

Walgreens is having a 3-day Valentine’s Sale through Tuesday, and everything from flowers to candy to cards is participating.
Don’t miss the full page of coupons in the ad. There are coupons available for Jell-O, diced tomatoes, Cambell’s soups, Cheez-its, Orbit, candies, and more. Combine these with any manufacturer coupons for the best deal!
Additionally, there are tons of BOGO deals in the beauty department. Nail polish and fragrances make great gifts, you know (hint hint).

The best deals at Target this week are on DVDs (select movies are only $9), and girls’ Cherokee tanks, tees and camis ($5), boys’ Cherokee polos and T-shirts ($5). You’ll also get a free $5 gift card when you buy four of select items, like Dove bar soap, Degree, Q-Tips, Vaseline lotion, and Suave 2-packs.

Sears is offering an extra 15% off fine jewelry, watches, clothing, intimate apparel, accessories, fragrances and cosmetics today through Wednesday with the coupon from today’s ad.
Additionally, Shop Your Way Rewards members and their friends will receive an extra 5 to 20% off today. Register for the rewards program for free here.

Kohls is having a 3-day sale today through Tuesday, with door busters all day today. Tons of merchandise throughout the store is on sale, plus select apparel is buy 1, get 1 free or buy 1, get 1 half-off.
Be sure to check the clearance racks, final clearance items are up to 80% off.

Don’t overlook the Walmart ad today — there are coupons! On the back of the ad you’ll find manufacturer’s coupons for Nivea, Eucerin and Burt’s Bees. Note that these are manufacturer’s coupons so you can use them at other retailers, not just Walmart.

Like some of the other retailers, Kmart is offering loads of BOGO deals throughout the store.
The Dinner Meal Deal this week is offering free Fresh Express lettuce and shredded cheese with the purchase of Oscar Mayer grilled chicken strips.

Toys R Us is offering 30% off all of their top selling Star Wars toys this week, and when you purchase $35 or more of Star Wars merchandise you’ll get a free Darth Maul USB flash drive ($14.99 value).
There are also some great deals on baby gear. Fisher-Price toys are buy 1, get 1 free, blankets are buy 1, get 1 50% off, Avent feeding items are buy 1, get 1 50% off and more. Plus, you can earn free gift cards by buying diapers.
Don’t miss the coupon offering 20% off any regular priced baby item, too.

Kroger has a great deal going on now. When you mix and match any 10 participating items you’ll save $3 on your bill, plus you’ll get a coupon at checkout good for $2 off on your next visit. So stock up on these sale items and you’ll receive even more savings in the long run!

Remember, all of these ads may not appear in your paper. However, many retailers post their ads online, so always check there if you’re interested in finding out more details. You can also get printable coupons at both SmartSource and Redplum websites.
