Macy’s has a new Be Book Smart promotion going on now that will not only help you, but a child in need.

Now  through July 31, when you give $3 to provide a book for a child, Macy’s will give you a coupon good for $10 off a $50 purchase in return.

The coupon does exclude: Everday Values, specials, super buys, furniture, mattresses, floor coverings, cosmetics, fragrances, select brands and more. These exclusions are pretty much the norm for any retail coupons, though.
