Have you enjoyed your tax holiday? Today is the last day to shop for eligible school supplies and clothing without tax, so head to the stores now if you’re interested.

Kroger has a new buy 5, save $5 promotion this week. Some participating products include Pampers diapers, various brands of deodorant, Tide laundry detergent, Cascade dishwasher detergent, Crest toothpaste, Bounty napkins, General Mills cereal and more. Combine this promotion with your coupons to save the most.
There are also many items in the product section available for $1 or less/lb. Yellow peaches, bell peppers, seedless grapes, squash, green beans, eggplant, Olathe corn and select varieties of lettuce all qualify.
I also noticed some popular items that will be buy one, get one free this week, like Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce, SunChips, Classico pasta sauce, Ken’s salad dressing, Quilted Northern bath tissue, Purex, Everyday Living kitchen tools, PictSweet frozen vegetables and Pirate’s Booty snacks.

Cosmetics are not tax free purchases this weekend, but you can still save at Ulta with the store’s new coupons:

Kohl’s is once again offering shoppers $10 in Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent through Aug. 7. Additionally, there will be three days of bonus buys and deeper sale prices today through Tuesday.
Obviously there will be tons of deals available at office supply stores this week.
OfficeMax has multiple deals under $1 and BOGO promotions, but the number of store coupons is what really caught my eye:

Teachers should consider shopping Saturday through Aug. 12, when they can save an extra 25% if they have a MaxPerks Teacher Rewards card.
Similarly, Staples also has tons of deals for $1 or less. One of the best deals is the free 5-pack of Pentel R.S.V.P. ballpoint pens you can get after rebate. You can also get double rewards when you purchase $75 of HP ink or any 2 HP toners.
Students: Pick up a touch laptop this weekend and Staples will throw in free Microsoft University for four years. This program includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook.
You also still have time to pick up a School Savings Pass for $10, which will save an additional 15% off supplies through September 21.

There are big savings up for grabs at CVS this week — you can’t miss them. Plastered right on the front of the ad is huge coupon offering 20% off your purchase (excludes sale items), plus an additional 10% off CVS brand items. This coupon can be combined with manufacturer coupons, dollar off store coupons and ExtraBucks, so stack those deals and save all that you can.
You might want to consider stocking up for next summer, because warm weather products like grills, picnic supplies, beach gear and more are all 30% off.
On Aug. 7 Walgreens will give seniors an opportunity to save a little extra. All days seniors will get 20% off Walgreens, W Brand, Well Beginnings and Nice! products, plus 15% off almost everything else — even sale items. Combine this deal with coupons and register rewards to save the most.

Like other retailers Target has big savings on school supplies, with many big name products starting at only 90 cents.
There’s also a store coupon this week offering $5 off the purchase of three Hanes items in stores.
Apparel for the family is also on sale, even some new fall products.
Sears also has apparel for the family on sale this week. Plus, the store is offering shoppers a $10 Fashion Award Card to use between Aug. 11 and Aug. 18 when you spend $50 or more on qualifying clothing and accessories. Shop Your Way Rewards members will also get $5 in points to use during the same dates.
Kmart has some great BOGO deals on shoes and apparel for the family — it’s a great opportunity to stock up for the school year.
Additionally, when you buy a participating back pack you’ll get a free tote, too. Similarly to other stores, most school supplies will be deeply discounted to $3 or less.
Today we have the first JC Penney ad in a while, and it includes a coupon.
The store is offering $10 off a purchase of $25 or more on select apparel, shoes and accessories, plus an extra 10% off select fine jewelry, watches, home and backpack purchases.
Belk is having a home sale now through Tuesday and you can save extra with the coupon in the ad offering an extra 15% off regular or sale priced home purchases.
AC Moore has a big batch of new coupons today:

*60% off +$10 off custom framing
*40% off any regular priced item (there are two of these)
The retailer also already has fall merchandise 40% off.
