Salem resident Kay Huffman just opened up Twinkletoes Dancewear in Ridgewood Shopping Center across from Lewis Gale. A veteran of direct sell programs, she is excited about having her own business. “I have two young daughters that dance … I listened for years to the other moms complaining about driving so far to get dance wear,” Huffman said. “So I thought I’d try to bring something over here to our side of town.” The store will have another grand opening celebration on August 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with gift cards, tote bags, bracelets, and other items being raffled off every half hour. Brand names like Body Wrappers, Leo's, and PrimaSoft point shoes will line the shelves.
