We’re going green this week in So Salem -- green as in the Glenvar High School colors. The August 22 print edition of So Salem is the first of our two fall sports issues. This week, we feature Glenvar teams. Next week, Salem teams. You may have already seen the photo galleries of the Glenvar and Salem teams which we’ve posted online -- you’ll find many of those photos in print, as well.

This is a good moment to stop for a program note, too. We reach more than 90 percent of the households in Salem and western Roanoke County.
