Palin rally drawing a crowd…
11:45 a.m., Salem Stadium lot
These pictures are from around 11:45 a.m. this morning. A crowd of around 100 had already grown, and the streets of Salem seemed a little busier during the lunchtime rush.
Below is Billie Reid of Salem with her friend Mark Collins of Buchanan. They got to the Salem Stadium parking lot around 11 a.m.

Is anyone really going to this???????
Why wouldn’t people go to this?????? When Obama came to Roanoke, the liberals in this city acted like the Messiah was coming to town. Palin is an incredible attribute to the Republicn ticket. I just love how she gets under the liberals skin. Ya’ll are so intimated by her beacuse she is a strong willed and independent minded women. She is drawing a bigger crowd than Obama did.

I loved the sign that read “God Bless America – Vote Republican.” Please bible belt, show that you have some brains and remember that the reason you are able to be worship as you do because of the SEPERATION of church and state this country was founded on. And Spellcheck, to categorize over 60% of Americans based on the wrong spelling of a word in one place shows your ignorance and prejudice.

Wow! Three simple comments reveal the truly dire situation American Politics and America itself is in. All we need is someone to talk about the cost of Palin’s clothes, or whether or not Obama is a muslim and it would be perfect. unbelievable. The event Rocked! The stadium was shoulder to shoulder crowded!! There is only ONE candidate that has every really fought for you!!!!

I was at the rally and it was fantastic! It was amazing to see how she connected with people. If you missed the rally you really missed out! McCain/Palin 2008!
The event was great! I was there and really enjoyed it!
I just wanted to clarify a few things:
To Thank God it’s over: Thihs country was NOT founded on Separation of Church in state. Go right now and look for it in the Constitution. Guess what? It is not there! It says Congress can’t make a law establishing a religion but that is something entirely different. And it certainly doesn’t mean that a Christian can’t seek a political office. We can worship like we can because so many men and women have died over the years defending that freedom!
To Debbie: If you do research into the psychology of abortions at all you will see that though rape is a terrible thing women who actually carry their babies to full-term and have them find it much easier than those who abort them. And that isn’t me talking that is what studies show.
To NoPalin: That is one of the most hateful and racist comments I have seen in a long time. You are saying that simply because I don’t vote for an African-American that makes me racist? Please! If Obama was qualified and did not have such a shady background I would vote for him. Race has nothing to do with it. And then you insult her family like you did? That was the most hateful of all. Before you run around calling other people hypocrites examine yourself first.
I attended the Palin rally. I was great. The polls are not adding up. I saw a wide range of age groups excited about Sarah Palin. I feel that the negative treatment by the media on Sarah Palin is pushing voters towards McCain/Palin ticket. I think that Sarah Palin has the same communication skills like Ronald Reagan.
