The 29th Annual Chance Crawford Benefit Softball Tournament will be held April 17 – 19. The tournament will offer teams the opportunity to earn World, National, and State berths for N.S.A., U.S.S.S.A. and A.S.A. for one entry fee! The top four teams in each division will earn a World and/or National Berth.

Games will be played at the James I. Moyer Sports Complex (tournament headquarters) and local area fields. This year’s event will host the following divisions: Men’s C Competitive, Men’s C, Men’s D, Men’s E, Men’s Recreation/Novice and Women’s Division.

Registration Deadline is April 10, 2009.

Entry fees are as follows:
Men’s C Division and Men’s Competitive is $275.00 with Pool Play and Double Elimination Format.
All other divisions will be $240.00 with a 3-game format.

The Manager’s Social will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 17 at the Roanoke Moose Lodge located near Whispering Pines on Rt. 311. The skills competition will be held at Moyer Sports Complex at 7:15 p.m. and will include a Home Run Derby, Base Running Contest, Hitting Accuracy Contest, and Throwing Accuracy Contest. The fees will be $10 per person per competition and participants can sign up that night.
