The Allison family.

The Allison family.

The photo at the left is of the Allison family, originally from New Hampshire. Their story begins at the first game of the 1986 World Series on October 18 in Shea Stadium, where Thomas and Beverly Allison had their first date. After they were married, they moved to Salem in 1987. Thomas couldn’t make it to the Salem Red Sox season opener, but the family was out in full force - and Beverly and her grandson, Logan Bowes, even wore the shirts that the Allisons bought at their first date.
