Haellie Gordon, an East Salem 4th grader, participated in an after school program called Minds in Motion. “Minds in Motion ia a year long program that teaches 4th graders discipline, dedication and self-awareness by leading them through a series of choreographic movements which must be memorized and expanded upon in in each class.” They gave their performance last night at the Roanoke Theatre for the Performing Arts. Other dancers were from Fishburn Park, Grandin Court, Raleigh Court, Hurt Park and also Martinsville. They did an amazing job. I was really impressed with their expertise and enthusiasm.
