Salem Kiwanis send a 4-H-er to camp
The Salem Kiwanis donated $980 to fund a 4H camp scholarship at their June 23 meeting. Most of the 4H scholarships are based on need, but this year the extension office offered one to the winner of a 4H garden program essay contest. The top four essays belonged to four Penn Forest rising fifth graders who were in Sheri Dolan’s fourth grade class:
1 – Roshni Sen
2 – Grace Page
3 – Morgan Leftwich
4 – Maha Ali
Roshni can’t attend because of a family vacation, so Grace will get a free ride 4H camp this year, free of charge!
