The Salem School Board honored rising junior Patrick O’Keefe for winning the Group AA boys’ state singles tennis title on June 3 at Radford University. Patrick defeated Caleb Rapkins of James Monroe 6-1, 6-0 to win the Group AA title. This was Patrick’s second consecutive Group AA Singles State Championship.

O’Keefe and fellow rising junior Will Drougas won the Group AA state doubles tennis title on June 6, defeating Western Albemarle’s Joey Manilla and Alex Preve 6-1, 6-3 at Virginia Tech’s Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.
