Gobbler Gear in Salem held its Open House recently, and Annie Lin has sent photos of her and her son Jerry Wu at the Hokie-themed festivities.  Here’s her account:

On August 1,2009, Jerry and I went to “Your hometown Hokie headquarters” located at College Street and 4th Street in Salem, Virginia for Gobbler Gear Open House.

We saw the Hokie-bird standing at the store. That was such a crowd there. We had pictures taken with the famous turkey.

Everyone looked for VT merchandise at the store. During the open house from 10:00am-11:30am there were t-shirt, firehouse subs and sodas given away with your purchase ticket.

If you are a VT fan you may come by there sometime and you may find all of the stuff which you like.

Anyway, we enjoyed the pictures taken with Hokie-bird and I hope you like them too.
