Photos: Salem Republicans draw the whole ticket at their annual breakfast
Pretty much every Virginian Republican candidate and office holder that has anything to do with Salem and Roanoke joined the Salem Republicans for their annual breakfast. This year, over 250 people attended – topping their record number of 175 for 2008′s event.
Politicians included Congressman Eric Cantor, Lieutenant Govenor Bill Bolling, Congressman Bob Goodlatte, Delegate Morgan Griffith, Senator Ralph Smith, Roanoke Sheriff Octavia Johnson and former sheriff Everett Obenshain, and Salem councilwoman Jane Johnson. Most of them took to the streets during Olde Salem Days later that morning to meet and greet their constituents.
