Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 75th anniversary

On September 17, citizens and chamber members joined in the celebration of the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce 75th Anniversary at the Party in the Park.Guests included Senator Ralph Smith, City of Salem Mayor Randy Foley, Lisa Garst and Bill Jones from Salem City Council, as well as Roanoke County Supervisor Joseph B. “Butch” Church. The Chamber welcomed many of its own past presidents back for the celebration including Ray Byrd, Jim Laub, Frank Chapman, and Jim Elliot.
Attendees celebrated the occasion by enjoying the 75th Anniversary Cake, catching up with old friends, and viewing a video produced for the 75th Anniversary filled with memories of past Chamber board members. The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the community for 75 great years of building the business community.
