“A Light in the Darkness,” a community Easter drama will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 2 and 3 at Sherwood Memorial Amphitheater.
Admission is free, and an offering will be received for the Salem Food Pantry.
“It’s the Easter passion play, but it kind of takes a different look. It’s the same play but from a different perspective,” said Brian Gordon, pastor at First Evangelical Methodist Church in Salem, in an interview last month. “It shows Satan trying to thwart God’s plan and how he falls into God’s hands.”
Sponsored by: Sherwood Memorial Park, Lee Hartman & Sons, Sherwin-Williams, First Evangelical Methodist Church, Ministry in Motion, Calvary United Methodist Church, the Salem Ministerial Association, and other area churches
