Hidden Valley Middle’s wrestling team traveled to Glenvar Middle School for a wrestling match on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
In middle school wrestling, teams typically don’t keep an official score. It’s more about providing experience and challenging the athletes, both coaches Brent Hudson (Glenvar) and Rick Schilling (Hidden Valley) said.
Coach Hudson said:
“Our individual First round match winners from last night are the following:
Cody Shelton 105
Noah Webb 110
Tyler McCarver 125
Daulton Palmer 140
Cody Luper 110
David Williams 125
“Second round winners were:
Patrick Maloney 120
Zach Beard 140
Christian Walters 130
“It was a tough match and all of our kids represented how strong the Glenvar Wreslting program is. Hidden Valley was a tough challenge and they are very well coached.”
