Photos: Salem Red Sox Fest with Annie Lin
The Salem Red Sox’s annual Sox Fest was from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 7 at LewisGale Field in Salem. The event was free for everyone. There were children’s activities such as face painting, balloon animals, inflatable rides and K-92 Easter Egg Hunt. Everyone had free hot dogs, chips, Hershey’s ice cream and drinks.
When my son, Jerry, and I arrived there at 10 a.m., we saw a long line waiting for the door to open. Then we followed the line to get onto the field. Everyone got a free 2012 schedule poster. First, we had a picture taken with a big dog (Mascot) in the front of LewisGale Field. Then we walked around and got in the line for free hot dogs, chips, and soft drinks. We sat at the table, and we saw a crowd of people there. Everyone enjoyed a free meal.
The funniest event was K92 Easter Egg Hunt. See! The hundreds and hundreds of eggs lying in the field. The kids are waiting to pick up the eggs. Jerry is the oldest kid. He enjoyed his Easter Egg Hunt. I enjoyed taking a picture and watching.
We did not stay for all of the activities, because I had to get back to work, but we enjoyed the Salem Red Sox Fest. Please let me share my pictures with you.
