Photos: Sprucing up, welcoming Greenwood Farms at the Salem Farmers Market
Ann Whitenack at the Salem Farmers Market shares the photos above.
Alice Austin, Salem Farmers Market manager and Beautification employee Ann Whitenack work on sprucing up the market for the 2012 season. With lots of exciting things planned for the year, we felt new colors were needed to brighten things up!
SPRING! Pretty flowers, budding trees, red breasted robins and Sandra Greenwood, WHAT? That’s right, Sandra Greenwood of Greenwood Farms signifies spring has arrived on the Salem Farmers Market. For over 30 years Sandra has been a constant fixture on the same corner in booth 18. Sandra has battled snow, rain, wind and heavy pollen, driving every Tuesday through Saturday from Copper Hill to Salem to sell her family’s homegrown plants, flowers and vegetables. Greenwood Farms has a loyal customer base and is a staple of the Salem Farmers Market. Come by and say hello to Sandra today!
