Roanoke County Public Schools held this year’s retirement dinner last week. This year, 60 school employees will be retiring, 7 of which are from the Glenvar area.

Here are the list of retirees in the Glenvar area:

• Maria Catron, Fort Lewis Elementary, second grade, 18 years
• John Gray, Jr., Glenvary Middle, Psychologist, 33 years
• Judith Gray, Glenvar High, Special Education, 13 years
• Beth Sellers, Glenvar Middle, Science, 10 years
• Joan Tripp, Fort Lewis Elementary, second grade, 21 years
• Linda Wingfield, Masons Cove Elementary, Kindergarten, 40 years
• Sandra Winter, Masons Cove Elementary, Instructional Assistant, 30 years

Years marks how many years each employee worked for Roanoke County Public Schools.
