Praises for Richfield’s Red Carpet Affair – and GHS’s football team, too!
The families of the residents of the assisted living facility, Joe Thomas Center in Salem, were treated to “a Red Carpet Affair” last Friday. It was a true SENIOR prom for the residents.Their activity director, Beverly and her staff, gave them a beautiful party.
Everything was donated by some special businesses like corsages from Stritsky’s, music by Don Lloyd, and Limousine rides by Elite Limo in Daleville.
I especially want to give high praise to the Salem High School culinary club for the delicious food, and the neatly dressed Glenvar High Football players, led by Coach Clifford, for being escorts and dancing with the “elderly” who were mostly dressed in their formal attire! The parents of these students can be really proud of these young people as they brought smiles and fun to all of us.
