Salem Food Pantry needs volunteers for annual Postal Food Drive
The Salem Roanoke County Food Pantry needs volunteers for the annual Postal Food Drive on Saturday, May 12.
Volunteers are needed at the Salem Civic Center from 12 to 5 p.m., although more volunteers are needed between 2 and 5 p.m., said Jenny McCormick, the food pantry’s director.
“This is a great project for service clubs and youth groups,” McCormick said, but they also love to have individual or families volunteer: “Anyone who is able!”
