I’m Avery Eliades–your new community journalist for So Salem.

I am very much looking forward to covering the news, events and stories (and more!) in Salem, Glenvar and western Roanoke County, and I can’t wait to meet as many of you all as I can.

I’ll be available by calling 540-981-3342 or emailing avery.eliades@sosalem.com. I’ll also be in the area on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for my weekly office hours at Mill Mountain Coffee and Tea, located at 17 East Main St. in Salem. If you’re in the area, come on by and meet me!
