Photo: Annie Lin and Jerry Wu attend Chick-fil-A grand opening
Annie Lin shares these photos from the grand opening of Chick-fil-A in Salem and writes:
The Chick-Fil-A grand opening in Salem on June 2, 2012 with opening week event; free breakfast on June 4&5th at 7am-9am drive thru only, playland dedication on June 9th at 9am. The first 100 people camped out in the hopes of winning a free chick-Fil-A meal a week for a year and merchandise. I did not attend the camp out, but I took Jerry in the drive-thru to get free breakfast.
We saw the Chick-Fil-A cow, looking at Jerry’s smiling face in the pictures. He enjoyed Chick-Fil-A food and saw the cow, too. I did not have chance to take a picture with Dan Cathy, President chief operating officer of Chick-Fil-A, but I had a picture with franchise-owner Vanessa Miles, and we were lucky to have a picture taken with WSLS10 reporters.
On Saturday, June 9, we went there and saw Snookums, she painted a chick on Jerry’s face! It is pretty one! Jerry wore a t-shirt with Chick-Fil-A cow’s picture on it. Everyone liked Jerry’s t-shirt. I did not go to the camped out, did not win free meals coupon for a year, but we got free breakfast in the drive thru, had pictures taken with Vanessa, employees, WSLS10 reporters, Snookums, and Chick-Fil-A cow. They knew that we were there. When Snookums saw me and said “Annie, I knew you, you are always in the newspapers.” Wow! am I famous? Jerry and I are just crazy about Chick-Fil-A. Are you, too? Please let me share my pictures (included my beautiful garden pictures) with you.
