At a June 28 awards meeting of the Cave Spring Lions Club, Larry Nash received a Certificate of Appreciation from Lions Clubs International President Wing-Kun Tam presented by Eric Mills, Zone Chairman of Lions District 24-E. The citation accompanying the award reads: “This Lion is recognized for his many contributions in Lions service over the years. He has been president of two clubs for a total of six years. He provides leadership and support to all of our Lions projects including the eyeglass recycling program. Outside of Lions, he regularly volunteers at the Salem – Roanoke County Food Bank throughout the year.”
