Photos: Annie Lin attends Politic’n ‘N Chicken party and Friendship Manor picnic
Annie Lin shares these photos and writes:
I got an invitation from Delgate Greg Habeeb for Politic’n ‘N Chicken party on Saturday, June 23 at 11am to 2pm at Eastern Montgomery Park in Elliston, Virginia. I took my son, Jerry with me to the party. There had food, games and family fun. Oh! I presented my Tai-Chi demonstration during the party time. I wore red Dragon Martial Art clothes, and Jerry wore yellow Dragon costume, but Jerry did not present Tai-Chi; he likes to eat, I saw Erik cut watermelon for everyone. It was really sweet and juicy for hot weather.
After my performance. I heard applause for me, then all of kids came to me, and said “May I hold your fan?” “How can it open and make loud sound?” I said “Put your thumb here and hold the fan, the open it.” “Need practice!” A little girl said “May I hold your fan to have my picture taken?” “Sure” I said. She said “You may come to my class to let my classmate hold your fan.” I said “Ask your teacher, and let me know. I will glad to do it”.
That was so much fun to have kids who liked my performance. They were very interested in Tai-Chi. I was so gratified.
Then we went to the “Friendship Manor annual picnic.” It was my second place to eat at the same day. I had to do my Tai-Chi demonstration for my work place. My co-workers, they said “Annie, we liked your performance and Jerry’s costume, too.”
