Photos: Salem High alumni Tony Weikle gives back

Here are a few photos of Salem High School 1985 graduate Tony Weikle, owner of Certified Collision in Salem, teaching students at SHS’s Autobody garage how to properly paint a car in the new paint booth that Weikle helped bring to SHS with a huge amount of savings.

He’s been helping out and contributing to Salem High’s autobody classes since 2005.

In addition to lending time and talent to bringing the paint booth to the Salem High garage back in 2010, he helped to negotiate approximately $20,000 in savings by working directly with the manufacturer.

“It’s just part of me giving back to the community so we can get kids involved in a trade, because college isn’t for everybody,” Weikle said. “Tradesmen make the world go ’round.”

The new paint booth has more windows, better lighting, and more room.
