Roanoke County updates brush collection efforts

Roanoke County sent this out on Saturday:

Brush crews have now moved to B Week residents. We are still on a significant delay for brush collection only. Brush crews will be working on Saturday, July 14, 2012, in a continued attempt to collect the debris as quickly as possible.

We ask that residents please be patient regarding their brush collection as delays may be lengthy. Please do not place brush under power lines, trees, or park vehicles near the brush piles as these obstacles will further delay collection. Please remember that brush must be no longer than 6 feet in length and 12 inches in diameter.

Solid waste crews will be emptying garbage cans and picking up bulk for A Week residents next week on schedule.
