Super Hold returns to Salem Farmers Market stage on Friday, July 27

The popular “Salem After Five” concert series continues on July 27 with the 1980s tribute band Super Hold performing on the Salem Farmers Market stage. The event will get under way at 5:30 p.m., and all proceeds will benefit R.A.M. – Roanoke Area Ministries and Children’s Trust.

The Salem Farmers Market is located in the heart of downtown Salem on the corner of Main and Broad streets.

“Salem After Five” is sponsored by the City of Salem Parks and Recreation department, Q99-FM, Aaron’s and Pepsi.

Admission is $5 for adults, and children 12 and under are free. There will be a children’s play area set up in the market, as well as food vendors featuring Leb’s Grill, Salem Pizza & Subs, Salem Ice Cream Parlor, and Ol’ Mule Hot Dog Co.

Raffle tickets also will be available for purchase during the event. This month’s prize is a $500 Aaron’s gift certificate. The drawing will take place about 8:30 p.m. the night of the show, and the winner does not have to be present to win.

No coolers, outside food or drinks, rollerblades, skateboards or pets are allowed on the premises.

For additional information call Salem Parks and Recreation at 375-3057.
