Kettle corn galore! Take some salty sweet kettle corn, plain or white cheddar popcorn, throw in pork rinds in nine different flavors and you have Mike Brightwell’s sideline business. Mike can be found most Saturdays at the Salem Farmers Market popping up a batch of corn or cooking up some rinds.
Growing up and living in Salem, Mike is a true Salemite. When he is not in his patrol car cruising the streets keeping our community safe, he is working at a Red Socks game, doing a fundraiser or any other outdoor sports event where kettle corn or pork rinds are the talk of the town. When asked why Mike chose to sell at our market he said, “Where else would I be? Salem is home.”
Thanks for making us your home Mike, we’re glad to have you here.
