On Saturday, July 21, 2012, my son, Jerry Wu, and I saw Emme St. James at 5:45pm at Art &Jazz in July event at Longwood Park in Salem. We had never seen Emme before, but she is still so beautiful. We heard her sing “That’s All”.
As a young girl, Miss St. James spent countless hours singing and playing jazz standards at her parents’ piano while dreaming of one day becoming a jazz singer. Today she is backed by top jazz musicians and her dream of being a jazz vocalist is a reality.
After her performance, I asked her to sign autographs and pictures taken. She said “I like your shirts”. She signed xoxo on Jerry’s shirt. Thank you Emme. We really liked her.
