Glenvar Elementary School held orientation for incoming Kindergarten students on Monday, Aug. 20. We have photos of some of the students and their parents.

After gathering in the cafeteria, the Kindergarteners typically take a short bus ride in the Glenvar area. However, yesterday the students were unable to ride the bus and went to play in the gym instead, while their parents learned about what to expect for the coming school year.

Roanoke County schools are back in session today, Tuesday, Aug. 21.
