Salem Republican Committee to hold annual Olde Salem Days Breakfast
The Salem Republican Committee announces details on the 13th annual Olde Salem Days Breakfast.
The breakfast will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 8 a.m. at the Salem Civic Center. Several guest speakers have already been announced. The breakfast is the local party’s largest fundraiser of the year and routinely attracts over 150 attendees.
This year, guest speakers will include: Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC), Lt. Governor Bill Bolling, Susan Allen, wife of US Senate candidate George Allen, Reps. Morgan Griffith (R-Salem) and Bob Goodlatte (R-Roanoke), State Senator Ralph Smith and Delegate Greg Habeeb.
“We are very pleased with our lineup of speakers this year,” said Salem Republican Committee Chair Kjersten Croke. “This is a critical year for our party, our state and our country. The money we raise will allow us to support our candidates for Congress, Senate and President.”
For those interested in attending the breakfast, they should contact Croke by e-mailing salemrepublicans@yahoo.com or by calling (540) 588-3625. Tickets can also be picked up at 113 East Main St. in Salem. More information can be found online at www.salemrepublicans.com.
