Glenvar High School SRO Brent Hudson shares this photo and says:
Our YOVASO club is working hard this year to promote safe teen driving. This weekend is our homecoming at Glenvar, and we set up the Roanoke County Police radar trailer along the road at the high school. This radar trailer flashes the speed of vehicles as they approach. We hope we grabbed the attention all of the students driving to school and reminded them to drive safely for homecoming. We also made posters with messages to drive safe and not drink and drive. The students held these posters beside the trailer as the students drove by on their way to school this morning. I think our small presentation went well and hopefully we will continue to have other presentations in the near future.
Thank you, Brent!
